How do I cancel my Strapi Cloud subscription?

Strapi Cloud subscriptions are canceled from the Strapi Cloud dashboard by deleting the project. The billing portal at billing.strapi.io shows Cloud subscriptions as view-only.

Warning

Removing a payment card from the Payment Methods tab in billing.strapi.io that is attached to a Cloud subscription will cancel that subscription immediately.

To cancel your Cloud subscription, delete the project:

This will permanently remove all data and assets.

  1. Open the Strapi Cloud dashboard

  2. Select your project

  3. Go to Settings

  4. Find the Delete project option at the bottom of the page

  5. Confirm project deletion

If you encounter any technical difficulties following these steps, contact Strapi support for assistance. You must be the project owner to request this help.

Note

Only the project owner can delete a project or cancel a subscription. Our support team cannot process deletion requests from other users.

After deleting the project, sign into billing.strapi.io to confirm your cancellation status. Look for "Scheduled for cancellation" or "Canceled" under Subscriptions.

If the project owner is unavailable

  • Contact your bank or payment provider

  • Request to:

    • Cancel the associated payment card

    • Stop recurring payments

For security reasons, there are no exceptions to this policy. Project deletion requires verification from the registered project owner's email address.
