Strapi AI is the native intelligent automation layer built into Strapi CMS. It accelerates schema creation, media operations, and translation while keeping you in full control of your content and data.
With Strapi AI, you can:

Strapi AI is part of the Growth Plan starting in version 5.30 and works with Strapi Cloud or self-hosted deployments.
However, it isn’t currently available in the Enterprise Plan, and there’s no public timeline yet. Contact your account manager to express interest and get updates.

Start a 30-day trial via CLI or Strapi Cloud.
The trial includes 10 free credits to explore AI features.
After the trial, AI pauses until a Growth license is added.
Access AI features in your Admin Panel
Open the Content Type Builder, Media Library, or Content Manager to start using AI.

Included: Growth Plan comes with 1,000 monthly AI credits.
Usage: Credits are consumed based on task complexity. If an AI operation fails, the system returns a clear error, allowing you to retry without losing credits.
Overages: When credits run out, AI continues working seamlessly — overages are billed automatically.
Pooling: Credits are shared across all users within the same project instance.
Monitoring: Check usage in Settings → Overview (similar to seat counts).
If credits exceed thresholds (85% / 100%), users receive notifications via email and dashboard alerts.
Processing: All AI requests are handled through Strapi-managed infrastructure. Temporary metadata and snippets exist only during each request.
Privacy: Strapi never stores unpublished content or credentials outside your instance. Compared to closed SaaS CMS tools, Strapi AI is open-source, self-hostable, and vendor-agnostic. You keep full ownership of your data while using native AI capabilities.
Compliance: Strapi AI follows the same GDPR-aligned framework as Strapi Cloud.
Data location: Processing occurs in secure, Strapi-managed environments; data is not retained after the operation.
