True-up rule

The pricing model at Strapi is based on the number of Seats. A user with a Seat is anyone who can log into your Strapi admin panel. You can add as many users as you wish to your Strapi project. We apply the true-up rule so that you pay what you use and keep things simple.

What's the "true-up" rule?

We make an annual adjustment to your account at the renewal. A yearly adjustment ("true-up") amount is needed to adjust estimated costs to actual expenditures.

For example, let's say you purchase an enterprise license for two seats at the beginning of your project. During the project's development, you add two more seats. You can either pay for these new users using the customer portal or upon renewal, and we will adjust the price of your license accordingly.

If the account has had more billable seats than the subscription at any time during the prior subscription period, the cost of the additional seats will be due at the time of renewal.
