Does the cloud only host the Strapi instance or the database/object storage also?

Strapi Cloud is custom-made to host Strapi CMS and provides a CDN, S3-compatible object storage, and database out of the box. That being said, you will be able to connect 3rd party services such as object storage providers via integrations.
