Using a custom email provider with Strapi Cloud
It is possible to use a custom email provider with Strapi Cloud and is also generally recommended if you intend to send out large volumes of emails or if you need to have a custom email domain shown in emails. There are a few things you should keep in mind however:
- The Strapi Support team will not be able to provide assistance to you on any issues that may come about during or after you use an external email provider
- We will be unable to assist you in debugging any provider's spam reports, bounces, or other metrics
- We will be unable to assist you in integrating custom email providers that Strapi itself does not build nor maintain
- If you have configured a provider and your password reset or email confirmation settings are still attempting to send on a different domain, don't forget to go to your email template settings page within the Strapi Admin and change the from email and reply-to email to your new email address
