Using a custom upload provider with Strapi Cloud
It is possible to use a custom upload provider with Strapi Cloud and is also generally recommended if you need more advanced control of your files (including caching or automated optimizations) including security as the Strapi Cloud Upload Provider does not allow for private files or buckets. There are a few things you should keep in mind however:
- The Strapi Support team will not be able to provide assistance to you on any issues that may come about during or after you use an external upload provider
- We will be unable to assist you in debugging any provider's bugs, caching, security, or any other issues on that provider
- We will be unable to assist you in integrating custom upload providers that Strapi itself does not build nor maintain
